Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to ship an item?

eBay now calculates the shipping cost for the shipping services we use. In general USPS Priority mail is least expensive for packages weighing less then 2-3 lbs. FedEx or UPS ground shipment is most cost effective for heavy items. We ship international packages by USPS Priority International, or USPS EMS international. Please use the eBay shipping cost calculator on the item description page to determine the most cost effective method to your specific destination.

How long does it take to ship my item?

We make every effort to ship your package fast, 95% of orders are shipped within 2 business days. Our standard shipping method is FedEx for all USA shipments over about 2 lbs. We use USPS for small packages, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and all international destinations. Some very large packages may require exceptional treatment. If you have special requirements please email us prior to checkout.

Expedited shipping is available. At checkout you will be offered faster shipping options for an additional charge. If this doesn't satisfy your needs, please send us an email and we will try to meet your requirements.

Do you charge local taxes?

Massachusetts buyers are required to pay 6.25% sales tax.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, about 25% of our sales are shipped internationally. All international shipments are shipped via USPS mail. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.

International buyers may be required to pay local customs, duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), brokerage fees, etc. on items being shipped to a foreign country. You are responsible for paying these costs directly to your local customs office, tax collector, or customs broker. They are not included in the shipping cost. For example, if you request FedEx to ship to Canada, FedEx will send you a bill in the mail after you receive the item that include these charges including a large FedEx brokerage fee.

Will you change the customs value to reduce my costs on importing?

All shipments are made with a commercial invoice for the full paid value of the item. We will not falsify records or customs forms.

Do you allow local Pick Ups?

Only on an exception basis for exceptionally heavy or bulky items. Please email or call prior to bidding if you feel a pickup is appropriate. Sales tax is required for all pickups.

Do you combine shipping?

Yes, eBay will combine shipping automatically on most items. There are a few obvious exceptions. For example: two very large or heavy items, when one item is drop shipped from a different location, when the first item has already shipped, etc.

What do I do if I received a damaged order?

If your item/package has been damaged in shipment please:

      1. Keep all the original packing material and box.
      2. Contact us within 5 days of receipt of your shipment
      3. If possible, take pictures of the damage. FedEx recommends including photos of the shipping label to expedite the claim process.
